What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, often referred to as "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation practice, combining body scanning, breath awareness, and visualisation techniques, that brings the body into a deep state of relaxation while keeping the mind gently aware. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, it offers a doorway to the subtle realms of consciousness, inviting a profound connection to your inner self.
Unlike regular sleep, Yoga Nidra guides you to a peaceful state between wakefulness and sleep — a sacred threshold where deep healing, insight, and inner peace can naturally occur.

Essence of INsight~Nidra
With guided instruction, the body settles into deep relaxation, while awareness turns inward. In this deeply restful yet conscious state, the body can repair tissue, support healing, and release long-held mental and emotional patterns.
We meditate on the chakras — subtle energy centres aligned with the body's nervous system. This gentle focus encourages emotional release and inner balance, leading to a natural descent into stillness, where peace, insight, and a sense of connection naturally emerge.
In this space, we’re no longer caught in habitual loops of thought or reactive emotion. Old stories soften, creating room for transformation, renewal, and a clearer sense of self.
INsight~Nidra invites a gentle yet profound inquiry into the nature of being. Rather than seeking answers through thought, we rest in awareness — allowing truth to arise from a place beyond the mind.
The intention of INsight~Nidra and meditation is to cultivate peace, happiness, and joy — a state of samadhi, where deep connection with all beings and existence is experienced.
