What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation technique that brings the body into a deep state of relaxation while the mind remains inwardly aware. Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, it offers a doorway into the subtle realms of consciousness, inviting a profound connection to the inner self.
Unlike regular sleep, Yoga Nidra allows meditators to enter a quiet space between waking and sleeping — a sacred threshold where deep healing, insight, and inner peace can naturally arise.

Essence of INsight~Nidra
With guided instruction, the body settles into complete relaxation, and meditators grow increasingly aware of their inner world. In this deeply restful yet conscious state, the body is able to repair damaged tissue, support healing from disease, and release deeply held mental and emotional patterns.
We meditate on the chakras, subtle energy centres that align with the body’s nerve centres. This encourages restorative balance and emotional release, and offers an effortless descent into stillness, where peace, clarity, and a deep sense of connection naturally unfold.
In this space, we are no longer confined by the habitual loops of thought or reactive emotion. Old stories soften, creating space for clarity, transformation, and renewal.
INsight~Nidra invites a gentle yet profound inquiry into the nature of self. Rather than seeking answers through thought, we rest in awareness — allowing insights to emerge from a place beyond the thinking mind.
The goals of INsight~Nidra and meditation are to cultivate peace, happiness, and joy — a state of samadhi, where a deep connection to all beings and all of existence is experienced.
